How to Download and Install Ledger Live Desktop
- Visit the Official Ledger Website:
- Download Ledger Live:
- Choose the appropriate version for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux) and download the installer.
- Install Ledger Live:
- Once downloaded, open the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
- Launch Ledger Live:
- Open the Ledger Live application from your computer’s application menu or desktop shortcut.
Setting Up Ledger Live Desktop
- Initial Setup:
- Upon first launch, you'll be prompted to set up Ledger Live. Click "Get Started" to begin.
- Choose a Configuration Option:
- If you are setting up a new Ledger device, select “Initialize as new device.”
- If you are using an existing device, choose “Restore from recovery phrase” if you’re setting up a new device with an existing wallet.
